A women's transitional facility in Flint has announced it will be closing down in 2015. According to ABC 12, Nina's Place will shut their doors on March 31, 2015 due to a lack of funding and grant money. Nina's Place has been around since 2010 and is part of the YWCA in Flint. It was started in 2010 for girls 18-20 who aged out of the foster care system and needed a place to live. Right now there are nine young women housed there.
