Congressman Dan Kildee to Attend ‘Speak Up, Speak Out’ Event in Flint Today

Congressman Dan Kildee of Michigan’s Fifth Congressional District, will be in Flint today to attend and give remarks at a “Speak Up, Speak Out” event.

The event, coinciding with Sexual Assault Awareness Month, will honor local victims of sexual assault who are helping to raise awareness about sexual assault and further educate communities and individuals on how to prevent it.

Kildee will be joined by sexual assault surivivors and a moment of silence will be held for those who did not survive their assault.

The “Speak Up, Speak Out” event takes place at the YWCA of Greater Flint located at 310 E. Third Street in Flint. It begins at 5:30 p.m.
