A Genesee County jury has found a Flint man guilty of murder related to the 2010 robbery that left two people dead, according to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.

Stanley Lajan Smith, Jr., 23 of Flint, has been found guilty of eight felony counts including the murders of Martarien Wilson, 27 years old, and Porsche Turner, 15 years old.

On November 13, 2010, Smith and another man went to a dwelling on Kearsley Park Blvd. in the City of Flint to commit an armed robbery for money and drugs. During the robbery, Smith shot and killed Wilson and Turner.

Smith faces life without parole when he is sentenced on January 8, 2013.
