That's right - everything is totally free thanks to the generosity of  Woodchips BBQ owner Patrick Hingst. Here is everything you need to know about this awesome community event.

When is the Woodchips BBQ party at Torzewski Park?

The party is Monday, July 4th from noon until 6:00 PM.

Where is Torzweski County Park located?

Torzewski County Park is located on Pero Road in Lapeer. The park sits on 69 acres on Pero Lake. Features include nature trails, children's play equipment, horseshoes, and sand volleyball. Changing rooms, restrooms, and lockers too.

Is the food really free at the party?

Yes! Guests will enjoy pulled pork, smoked hot dogs, mac & cheese, and coleslaw. Soft drinks will be provided as well.

Is there entertainment?

Five bands will be performing in the onsite amphitheater. Redburn of Saginaw is the headliner.

Although this is a completely free event, donations will be accepted to benefit The Refuge Homeless Shelter of Lapeer. If you are able to give it is appreciated.
