Flint Police Seek Public’s Help in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident
The Flint Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a pickup truck that may have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash.
According to WNEM, authorities say 34-year-old Jeffrey C. Lee was leaving a wedding reception outside the The Fraternal Order of Eagles on Dort Highway shortly before midnight on September 28th when a black Chevy Silverado hit him.
Police say they have received tips that the pickups owner may be trying to get it fixed. The truck - which has shiny rims and an extended cab - is said to have damage on its front, right side. They are asking for repair shops to be on the lookout for said pickup.
Authorities believe the crash was an accident, but the responsible party needs to come forward.
