Michigan State Police found a stockpile of guns, assault rifles, ammo, and assorted drugs when they raided a Davison Township home earlier this year.

The owner of the home on Atlas Road is now awaiting formal charges, and there should be plenty.  Consider the laundry list of items that police found inside the home.

  • 33 Assault Rifles
  • 10 Pistols
  • 4,000 Rounds of Ammo
  • 1,000 pounds of Marijuana
  • Less than an ounce of Cocaine
  • 15 grams of Mushrooms
  • 6 Body Armor Vests

According to WNEM, the homeowner is now in custody.  The investigation happened in late January, after FANG had obtained a warrant to search the property.

There is no determination as to a possible motive for the amount of firepower at the house, but the drugs on premises will most likely be enough to hold the suspect.

The scariest part about a story like this, is the fear of a mass shooting.  Anytime someone is found with a stockpile of assault weapons, the first thought for most people is that they were planning an attack.
