On Saturday, local Comcast employees along with their families and non=profit community partners will participate in Comcast Cares Day, along with their families and non-profit community partners for this annual, national company wide day of service. Comcast will have more than 85,000 volunteers working at 790 project sites around the country. Volunteers will paint schools and community centers, plant trees and flowers, clean up parks and package food for the hungry. Comcast shows their support by providing innovation technology, volunteering time, offering financial support and engaging in other community services.

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint wants us to know how they have received support from Comcast for over 50 years now. The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint is encouraging others to get involved so the local event can be a community success. Join in and work side by side with the employes of Comcast as they help support Flint. They are providing continental breakfast and registration at 8:00 a.m with work ending about 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint's Haskell Youth Center located at 2201 Forest Hill in Flint.Volunteers can also sign up here ahead of time: www.comcastinthecommunity.com
