What Would You Like to See Replace Bar Louie in Flint Township?

Not gonna lie - I think it's time for a Noodles & Co. in Genesee County.

With the unfortunate news over the weekend that Bar Louie is declaring Chapter 11 bankruptcy and closing locations throughout the country, we need to look to the future - what should replace the popular eatery at Genesee Valley Center?

1. Noodles & Co.

Let's be honest, folks - we're in need of a good noodle hangout. Chant with me - "JAPANESE PAN NOODLES!"

2. Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Pat's from Chicago and, if you were to ask him where to get pizza in the Windy City, he'd say Lou Malnati's. Their Chicago deep dish is second to none.

3. The Cheesecake Factory

The closest location is an hour away at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi. I mean, it's doable if you've got a hankering for a 10-page menu and tons of giant pieces of cheesecake...but wouldn't it be nice if there was one closer?

4. Cousins Subs

If you've ever been to Wisconsin or northern Illinois and you've never stopped at Cousins Subs, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! I know that there a lot of sandwich joints on Miller Road but TRUST ME - Cousins would be a great addition.

5. In-N-Out Burger

This one is purely wishful thinking; the chain is mainly located on the west coast. But hey, a girl can dream, amirite?
