This is really, REALLY hard to watch.

Last night during a game against Cleveland, there was a pretty scary moment for Detroit pitcher Jordan Zimmerman - he was hit in the face with a line drive from the Indian's Jason Kipnis. He left the game after just two batters.

He had his face on the mound for a couple of minutes until team trainer Doug Teter could attend to him. The batter knelt on the first base line while Zimmerman was being looked at.

He was treated for a jaw contusion and cleared of a concussion, and as of the last update from the Tigers' Twitter, was en route to get x-rays.

Brutal. Get better soon, Jordan!
