
University of Michigan Basketball Plane Slides Off Runway Heading To Big Ten Tournament
The Michigan basketball team got a scare Wednesday as they were heading to the Big 10 Tournament.
The plane that was supposed to take the team to Washington D.C. slid through a safety fence, and off the runway because of the crazy windstorm that hit Michigan Wednesday.
Luckily nobody was hurt, but based on the picture that were posted on Twitter, it was a serious situation. U of M posted the following message to update all of the fans.
The pics show how serious it is.
The video shows how strong the winds were that caused the problems.
The team did make other travel plans, and made it it DC. Now they will have to get over the initial shock of what happened and get ready to take on Illinois.
The two teams tip off today at Noon on the Big Ten Network.
