University of Michigan basketball coach John Beilein is leaving the school to become head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

ESPN broke the news, saying Beilein reached a deal with the Cavaliers on Sunday (5/12) and announced his resignation this morning. Beilein has agreed to be the Cavs' coach for five years.

Beilein has been called the winningest coach in U-M basketball history, taking the team to two Final Fours and four Big Ten tournament and regular-season titles during his 12-year career in Ann Arbor.
