Trunk Or Treat Events In Genesee County And Lapeer County

Your kids do not have to wait until October 31st to wear their Halloween costumes and go trick or treating. There are numerous Trunk or Treat events starting as early as next weekend through out Genesee County and Lapeer County.

I have compiled a list of what Trunk or Treat events I am aware of, but I am guessing there will be even more. If I missed one that you know about - please let me know and I will add it to the list. Unless otherwise noted, most are free events.

4th Annual Downtown Swartz Creek Trunk Or Treat

Saturday, October 9th 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

This event features candy, bounce houses, food trucks, games, face painting, balloons and movies. There will will also be a judged trunk decorating contest with prizes.

The SC Trunk or Treat will be happening at 5012 Holland Drive.

Flint Community Players Trunk Or Treat

Saturday, October 9th 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

This is a family friendly not so scary event. There will be trick or treating, costume fun, games and more.

The Flint Community Players is located at 2462 S Ballenger Highway in Flint.

Trunk Or Treat at Evolve Martial Arts

Sunday, October 10th 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

This event features candy, Natcch'yo Natchos Food Truck, bounce houses, face painting, glitter tattoos and a costume contest at 6:00 PM. Winners will receive $100 top prize in the following categories -  Best Family Costume, Best Overall Costume and Scariest Costume. There will also be a board breaking demonstration at 4:00 PM and  5:00 PM.

Evolve Martial Arts is located at 11394 North Linden Road Suite N in Clio.

Linden High School Trunk Or Treat

Tuesday, October 12th 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

This event is hosted by both the Argentine Police Department and the Argentine Fire Department. Linden High School is located at 7201 Silver Lake Road in Linden.

Kiwanis Club of Lapeer Fantasy Forest

Saturday, October 16th 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

This event features a Treat Walk with 60 plus stations and visits with friendly costumed characters. Kona Ice and Ya Eat Yet Food Truck will also be on site. There will also be  cider making. Both children and adults are encouraged to wear costumes. Children's admission is $3 in advance, $4 day of. Adults or Trunk or Treat only trail is $1. Admission includes a goody bag for treats, activity book, crayons, games and a chance at a free pumpkin.

Fantasy Forest will be set up in Rowden Park on M-24. Right across the street from McLaren Lapeer Regional Hospital.

1st Annual Trunk Or Treat On Main Street In Lapeer

Wednesday, October 20th 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

This event is presented by Helping Hands Nursing Service Home Health Care and will feature candy, food, games and prizes. Event location is 951 South Main Street in Lapeer.

Lake Callis Drive Thru Trunk Or Treat

Friday, October 22nd 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

This event is presented by Davison Township Parks & Recreation. All tickets for this event must be paid for in advance. Cost is $3 per Trick or Treater and you can purchase tickets here. Tickets sold by time slots, select drive name then choose number of children that will be in the car. Guests are encouraged to decorate vehicles. All attendees must remain in vehicles. A bag will be provided for each Trick or Treater. Bags will be hung on the car window using a 'S' hook (provided). Volunteers will place items into the bag to ensure no direct contact.

Lake Callis Recreation Complex  is located at 1152 North Gale Road in Davison.

Deerfield Plaza Trunk Or Treat

Saturday, October 23rd from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

This event will feature candy, a bounce house and games. There will also be hamburgers, hot dogs, and pulled pork sandwiches for sale. Deerfield Plaza is located at 5636 North Lapeer Road in North Branch.

Emerson School Trunk or Treat 

Thursday, October 28th 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Participating families are encouraged to arrive between to 5:15 PM and 5:45 PM to decorate their trunk and or vehicle.There will be a prize for best trunk sponsored by Emerson PTO. Emerson will not be providing any candy for the event but simply the space.

Emerson School is located at 515 East Oliver Street in Owosso.
