The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed forward Todd Bertuzzi to a two-year deal. According to ESPN, the deal is worth $4.15 million and includes a no-trade clause.

Bertuzzi, who would have been an unrestricted free agent July 1, has 12 goals and 17 assists and is a plus-21 in 54 games this season. Wings GM Ken Holland said the team is "very happy to keep Todd in Detroit for another two years" and that he's "played a big role on the team this season as one of the top six forwards." Holland added that Bertuzzi "has really worked hard to become a dependable two-way player."

Bertuzzi on the deal said "it was very easy to do. I love being here, I love being part of the Wings."
