C'mon, people. Does the fire chief REALLY need to say this? REALLY?

On Wednesday morning, firefighters had to block off a section of Mt. Morris and Lewis Roads for about a half-mile because of a fatal accident involving two cars. Flares were out on the road and a fire truck blocked the way.

And apparently, that wasn't clear enough of a barrier for some motorists.

The Mt. Morris fire chief posted a heated rant on Facebook, indicating that several cars passed the road block without even stopping.

We were reporting on this accident all morning the other day, so to read this was pretty discouraging. C'mon, people. Do better.
