MSP Asks for Public’s Help in Locating Suspect Involved in Deputy’s Death
The Michigan State Police is asking for the public's help in identifying the driver who eluded police following a crash that killed an Ingham County Deputy.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday, December 7th. Ingham County Deputy Grant Whitaker was killed in a single car crash outside the village of Stockbridge, in the area of M-52 and Dexter Trail, during a vehicle pursuit. The suspect vehicle is described as a light colored SUV. MSP investigators are still working to gather additional identifiers and will release additional information as it becomes available.
