Coming up in July, teens in the Flint area will be able to attend the Teen Academy at the Michigan State Police Flint Post to meet and learn from the troopers.

Teens will be able to attend the Teen Academy from July 29th through July 31st if they are between the ages of 13 and 16 years old. While there they will learn a number of things about first aid, social media safety, human trafficking, and more. The teens will also be served lunch each day and be given a t-shirt for attending.

The goal of the program is to give teens a positive first experience with state troopers and law enforcement officials. Trooper Steve Kramer will be the host for the second year in a row. The three-day program meets each day at the Michigan State Police Flint post from 9 am to 4 pm.

To get more information or to obtain an application, you can contact Trooper Kramer at 810-358-8605 or through email at kramers1@michigan.gov.
