136 Center Birch Run Closed
The announcement was made by a Facebook post that read:
Hello Everyone. In an unexpected tun of events, we must shut down 136 Center until further notice. We will be contacting everyone on a case by case basis. We will be posting updates here as they come. This was a total surprise for all of us. Thank you all for your incredible support.
What's happening to 136 Center in Birch Run?
The restaurant took to social media to dispel rumors, because of course, random commenters on the internet think they know everything.
They weren't shut down because anyone was ill. And, yes, they made all of their own food. The closure is due to losing their "phase III investor."
They invested a lot of blood, sweat and tears into redesigning the facility. The operators took great care creating a diverse business plan that wouldn't rely solely on tourist traffic, too.
Their hope is to have a new backer to continue on, soon.
Gift Card Returns for 136 Center
Customers will be glad to know the business set up a gift card return/refund portal very quickly.
Some commenters suggested they'd keep their gift cards in hopes the restaurant and event center would reopen soon.
We hope they do, too. Customers, that gave them a shot, loved the food and overall experience.
