A New Flint, MI Spot to Bring Beer, Wine and Charcuterie Downtown
Downtown Flint, Michigan's continued growth with reinvestment from its community is something special.
Not only are the legendary bricks along Saginaw Street getting a facelift, but new businesses keep popping up, too.
New Charcuterie, Wine & Beer Spot Opening in Downtown Flint
Say hello to Queens' Provisions in Flint's historic Carriage Town neighborhood. The soft opening is slated for Tuesday August 1st at 4pm with the grand opening scheduled for Thursday August 17th at 4pm.
You can order boards to go for special events, meetings and holidays or enjoy conversation over an adult beverage with friends & family in their cozy atmosphere. Take a look at the boards they recently made for the Ruth Mott Foundation.
Located in a historic Flint building.
Flint area history buffs might remember the Berridge Hotel at Garland and 2nd Streets. The hotel was originally built in 1928 when the auto industry was taking off. Decades later, the building (like many others) fell into disrepair.
Look at this postcard shared by the Genesee County Landbank on Facebook.
Perhaps the most shocking part of this building's history is the transformation from abandoned to residential lofts.
Not only is it great to see a new business putting down roots, but to see this historic property get even more new life.. it's refreshing.
