Howard Stern Is the New ‘America’s Got Talent’ Judge
After weeks of speculation, NBC finally confirmed that Sirius/XM satellite radio host Howard Stern will be joining ‘America’s Got Talent’ as a judge for its upcoming seventh season. Will Robin and “Baba Booey” be at his side?
The self-proclaimed “King of All Media” will be replacing Piers Morgan, who left the show in November. As a judge, Stern promised that he’ll be no-nonsense and will not put “less than talented” and “goofy” acts through. So basically anyone who has ever been on his radio show is out of luck.
Given that Stern hosts his morning radio show in New York and that he has a well-documented hatred of traveling, the L.A.-based talent competition will now move to the Big Apple. Stern also said that his new job will not interfere in any way with his radio show.
What do you think? Will Stern be an exciting new addition to the ‘America’s Got Talent’? Or will his larger-than-life personality bring the show down?
