Grand Blanc Student Putting Together 400+ Gift Bags for the Homeless
Can you help Kaitlyn reach her goal?
Kaitlyn is a fifth-grader at Myers Elementary in Grand Blanc, and she's been putting together gift bags for the homeless for the last two years. Her first year, she donated 200 gift bags to Carriage Town. This year, her goal has increased to 400 - 200 for the adults and 200 for the kids.
She's looking for hats, socks, coloring books, gloves and other items to fill the bags with. They're also accepting monetary donations to purchase the above items. If you'd like to donate, you can check out her Amazon Wish List. You can also drop off donations at Briarwood Veterinary Hospital or Fenton Family Dentistry.
We've said it a million times and we'll say it again - the nexy generation of kids are selfless and amazing. Way to go, Kaitlyn!
