Flint Farmers’ Market to Host 11th Annual BBQ Battle

The Flint Farmers' Market will host the 11th Annual BBQ Battle on Saturday. The event itself runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Attendees will be able to start sampling the competitors pulled pork beginning at noon in the market's new community room and then vote in a People's Choice Competition. For $5 people will be able to try every restaurants' barbecue. Winner's will be announced at 4:30 p.m.

Some of the competitiors include Charlie's Smokin' BBQ, Big JJ's BBQ, Table & Tap, Ole' Dad's BBQ, StinLee's BBQ and Smokin J's. There will also be live music from the Genesee Ramblers from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
