A beloved Grand Blanc Township business was completely destroyed by fire Wednesday night. Jellybean's (Fenton Rd. between Maple and Hill) went up in flames after lighting apparently struck the business' roof.

According to ABC-12, high winds that accompanied a strong thunderstorm that struck the Flint area Wednesday night (5/7) caused the fire to spread quickly.

Jellybean's has been a long-standing part of the Flint community, selling music, movies, and comic books to multiple generations. The store was closed at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
