The Flint Powers Chargers continued their winning ways on Friday night with a 34-0 victory over previously-unbeaten Frankenmuth in the Michigan High School football playoffs. It was a dogfight in the first half, with Powers holding a 13-0 halftime lead. Then the vaunted Charger defense took over, holding the Eagles to just 89 yards of total offense in the game. Powers scored 5 touchdowns, including 2 by senior Nick Sullivan, who may have played his best game ever both on offense and defense.

The playoffs continue this Friday night at Holy Redeemer Field as Powers takes Portland. Join us live on Flint's News Talk 1470 WFNT for the action, beginning with Rocky's pregame show 6:55.
