Bishop Airport Gets $4.4 Million for Improvements

Bishop International Airport is getting nearly $4.4 million to make improvements.

According to WNEM, the money will help rehabilitate its runway, replace runway lighting and remove trees that could obstruct several runways. The money will also be used to improve operations and boost safety.

U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters announced the funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation earlier this week..
