Baker College of Flint will host an open house on Thursday where prospective students and their families will be able to learn about their engineering and information technology programs.

Labs will be open for tours where students will be on hand to demonstrate industry-grade equipment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about Bachelor's Degree programs in engineering disciplines and mechanical technology.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the projected job market for computer and information systems managers is expected to increase by 15 percent by the year 2022. Projected employment increases for engineers range from 5 - 20 percent for the same time period.

The open house will be held at the Center for Engineering and Computer Technology located at 1050 W. Bristol Road from 4 - 8 p.m. and the public is invited.
