Whether or not you ever caught the critically under-appreciated FX gem ‘Rescue Me,’ or you delight in Denis Leary’s acerbic wit in this year’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ the comedian certainly has a distinctive voice.  Literally, and figuratively.  That’s why FX’s latest announcement has us wondering, will we hear either in the new series ‘Bronx Warrants?’

‘Parenthood’ has flown in somewhat under the radar of NBC shows, seemingly always on the bubble even as it makes it into its fourth season.  Similarly, former ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ star Ray Romano’s last gig with ‘Men of a Certain Age’ on TNT didn’t turn many heads, but drew plenty of critical acclaim.  So, it makes sense to combine the two, right?  Right?

Sure, there’s plenty of great summer TV to keep us occupied for the next few months, but you didn’t expect us to sit back and ignore our favorite major network shows, did you?  Just as NBC recently announced their fall schedule (moving ‘Community‘ back, boo!), so too has FOX unveiled their own listings.  Have their been any major upsets?

‘Community‘ fans are the first people to single out NBC for disregarding the show, by either never giving enough promotion, or changing its show-runner without so much of a phone call, and the newly-released official schedule for the fall is just icing on the cake.  So just how long will we have to wait for fresh episodes of ‘Community,’ or even ‘30 Rock?’

Though the ‘Game of Thrones‘ season 1 Blu-Ray and DVD has been out for several months now, controversy is just now making the rounds about production and commentary for the show’s first season finale “Fire and Blood.”  We’d seen the freak Easter Egg about former President George W. Bush being included among the severed head props used on the show, but what does HBO have to say about it?

Boy, that Vince Vaughn sure has his plate full these days, and we’re not talking about craft services (okay, probably that too.)  Between re-teaming with ‘Wedding Crashers’ star Owen Wilson for ‘The Internship,’ potentially taking on ‘The Rockford Files,’ and developing an FX dominatrix drama, just how will he manage to cram in a new ABC sitcom with Tony Danza?  And which of them will be the boss?

You know, we can remember back when Jimmy Fallon was just that giggly guy on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ who couldn’t hold it together even moments through a sketch, and now, he’s a spokesman for Capital One, late night media darling, and now, sitting down with the President.  Ain’t life funny?

It’s hard to think that an entire generation of young folk are more intimately familiar with the ‘Star Trek‘ of J.J.  Abrams‘ reboot franchise, given the decades worth of 5+ TV series, and 10 resulting films, but the idea of bring ‘Star Trek’ back to TV is hardly a new one.  So what are the odds of seeing that materialize  in the near future?
