Amazon Hiring Hundreds of Michiganders For New Livonia Fulfillment Center
Amazon is looking for hundreds of Michigan workers to man the new fulfillment center located in Livonia.
Amazon has been actively seeking specialized positions for the new fulfillment center in Michigan, but now they are expanding the search.
The company is looking for hundreds of entry level workers to man the floor of the massive warehouse. Amazon has posted for the positions on their hiring site here, and describe the warehouse jobs as:
people who thrive in a fast-moving environment, don't mind working with and around moving mechanical parts, and are okay with a little noise
There are a few requirements that you should know about before applying for the jobs.
- Must be 18 and a High School graduate
- Read and take dictation in English
- Willing to work all shifts, including overtime
- Willing to relocate
- Must lift over 49lbs and have no physical restrictions

The process won't be simple, but the rewards are there. Once hired, employees get discounts, 401K, Health Insurance, and holiday/overtime pay.
There may be another Amazon facility coming to Michigan soon. There is supposed to be a sortation center opening in Romulus sometime in the near future.
