The deer was super friendly and seemed to be accustomed to humans.

Beach-goers got a big surprise on Saturday afternoon in Saugatuck when a white-tailed deer moseyed on down for some R&R.

The deer walked right up to the water and casually hung out with patrons, licking a girl's legs and allowing people to pet it. People were sketchy at first but once they realized that the deer was friendly, they gave it food and interacted with it.

Some animal experts are warning that the deer may be sick or diseased, but that didn't stop people from interacting with it. All in all, a nice memory for everybody on the beach that day.
