Ten horses are dead after a barn fire in Burton today. The Detroit News reports firefighters responded to the Midnite Sun Training Center around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. When they arrived they found the barn engulfed in flames. Three horses outside the barn at the time of the fire survived.

According to Burton Deputy Fire Chief Ken Gould, the fire was the third within the last month and second within the same building.

Investigators are still determining the cause of the fire.
