One Dead in Flint Apartment Fire, Ruled Arson
An early Thursday morning fire at the Ballenger Manor Apartments left one person dead and has been ruled arson.
According to WNEM, the person who was killed in the fire was a female who lived in a second-story apartment. Her name and age has yet to be released.
All other occupants were able to make it out the building unharmed. The fire started around 5:30 a.m. and destroyed the entire third floor of one building.
Since the fire has been ruled arson, the woman's death has been ruled a homicide. Police have no suspects at this time.
