Most Wanted Sex Offender Caught

One of Michigan's most wanted sex offenders is now behind bars. The Michigan State Police and Flint Police Department say they captured Anthony Beaurum. Warrants were out for Beaurum for the past year-and-a-half that included attempted murder, armed robbery, and five counts of felony sex offender violations. A tip to Crime Stoppers led authorities to a house in Flint where he was arrested after a short foot chase. Beaurum had a firearm in his possession when taken into custody. He is currently lodged in the Flint City Jail.
