The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has wrapped up bridge work on I-75 from I-69 to the Genesee County/Saginaw County line, with only minor clean-up remaining. Crews finished removing the remaining traffic devices late last week and reopened the closed lanes.

"MDOT invested $10.1 million into this project," said Linda Burchell, MDOT Davison Transportation Service Center Manger. "We appreciate everyone's patience with our work on 16 bridges along the I-75 corridor, nine of which were structurally deficient prior to this construction. These bridges are now in good condition."

The 16 bridges across I-75 included: Flint River, Arlene Drive, Swartz Creek, Flushing (two bridges), Beecher, Miller, Pasadena, Carpenter, Coldwater, Dodge, Stanley, Mt. Morris, Lake, Wilson and Farrand Roads.
