Gas Prices to Climb

State motorists will pay 11 cents more for gas this week according to AAA Michigan. The current statewide average is just over $3.52 per gallon, 31 cents more then last year. The average price for self-serve regular rose 9.1 cents in in Metro Detroit over the past week, with the average just under $3.50 per gallon.

Last week, gas prices in Flint were the lowest in the state. That remains the case this week, even with the increase. A gallon of gas in Flint is averaging $3.51.
