A Flint woman and mother of three who has been missing for almost two weeks has been found dead in Monroe County.

According to WNEM, the Michigan State Police confirmed that 27-year-old Tanisha Colton's body was body was found Monday. Authorities are treating the case as a homicide.

Colton had last been seen March 13th. Searchers canvassed streets and neighborhoods around that area. Authorities said Colton's boyfriend, who is father of her three children, picked her up from work at Heritage Manor Healthcare in Flint Township. He was taken into custody for questioning and then later jailed for unpaid child support before being released.

Investigators say there are still plenty of questions that need to be answered.
