Flint Emergency Manager Darnell Earley held a press briefing on Thursday morning where he updated the timeline for the city to return to local control. Earley said significant work remains however before the city is out of receivership. He spoke of an April 2015 for his exit which would coincide with his 18 months being up as an appointed emergency manager under Public Act 436. Earley also spoke of a seven-point transition plan, an appointment of a transition advisory board, changes to the city charter, Hurley Medical Center and more. Hear the full audio from Earley below:
