Flint Breaks the Record for Snowfall in a Season
Flint has officially broken the record for most snowfall in a season after Tuesday morning’s snowfall.
According to MLive, the previous record was 82.9 inches set back in the 1974-75 season. With this morning’s snowfall of 0.6 inches of snow, the total for this season was raised to 83.2 inches. The National Weather Service measures snowfall for a season beginning in July and ending in June the next year.
The number could increase even more when snowfall totals are updated again this morning. Either way, Flint has set a record, and its one that we don’t have to worry about being ashamed of!
