Ichthus Flint is partnering with the Flint River Watershed Coalition to help clean up the streets of Flint this weekend.

Volunteers are needed to spend a short time in the morning in order to make a huge impact in the city, and help keep Flint beautiful for the summer months.

Duties during the cleanup include picking up trash, washing windows and more. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.

Ichthus Flint is a local non-profit organization supporting and providing clean entertainment and a healthy networking environment for young professionals throughout Flint and mid-Michigan.

Joshua Spencer, founder of Ichthus Flint, says "Downtown Flint is expecting more visitors this summer then we've had in decades and we could really use your help." Following the cleanup, free refreshments will be provided for participants in from of The Spencer Agency at 134 E. Second St.

The clean up takes place this Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and begins in front of the Capitol Theatre near 134 E. Second St.
