Congressman Dan Kildee to Distribute Free Gun Locks in Flint

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) will distribute free gun locks to residents of the Fifth Congressional District on Thursday afternoon at the Michigan State Police Post in Flint.

Kildee will also host a news conference with Flint Mayor Dayne Walling, Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell and Michigan State Police Trooper Tom Vaughn.

In addition to the gun locks, safety brochures regarding responsible gun ownership will also be provided at the event. The gun locks will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last,

The event will be held from 3-5 p.m. at 4495 Corunna Road.
