Want to Be Bob Seger’s Neighbor? It Could Happen for Just a Million Bucks
Imagine living across the road from Michigan superstar Bob Seger. He could walk over and borrow your tools. You could swim in his pool anytime you want without asking. His family could keep an eye on your place when you're out of town.
You realize that none of those things are ever going to happen, right?
But Mr. Seger's neighbor's house is for sale, listed here for a mere $1 million. Of course, the Night Moves singer's home is about four times the size, and at just over $8 million, it's worth considerably more.
Respecting His Privacy
Under no circumstances are we going to share the address of the man who is arguably Michigan's most famous resident. But it's not exactly a carefully-guarded secret, as every third person in Michigan seems to have a story to share about being hired to install his washer and dryer or working for a company that was contracted to trim his trees.
We also discourage anyone from driving by his home just for the hell of it, (1) because it's just plain rude and (2) because gas is way too expensive.

Sure, it's a bit smaller by comparison, but Seger's neighbor's house still boasts about 5,800 square feet of living space with almost 2,000 additional square feet of space of stretch-your-legs-out space in the finished basement.
There are five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a dream kitchen with an amazing pantry. Check out all the pictures and you'll see that there's a tennis court and basketball court on the property in addition to access to Upper Straights Lake - where you and your good friend Bob can go boating together. Or not.
