As part of the Love Your City campaign, dozens of volunteers took to the streets if Flint on Saturday in an attempt to fight graffiti. According to NBC 25, volunteers had hoped to paint more than 5,00 square feet of graffiti covered walls. Paint was supplied by The Home Depot and community groups including the Flint Police Department and Kettering University pitched in. Residents nearby said the effort makes a big difference. According to the City of Flint, another volunteer day will be scheduled this summer.
