Verizon Outage Blankets Southern Half of Michigan

Verizon is currently experiencing an outage that is many customers in the eastern half of the United States, including much of Southern Michigan.

According to Down Detector, Verizon service is experiencing an outage that covers much of the upper midwest and stretches along the east coast down to Florida.

Customers are reporting that they are unable to make calls or getting error messages.

"All circuits busy throughout the night in Dayton, OH," wrote one customer in the comments section. "All circuits busy in Philadelphia PA too," commented another.

As of this morning, Verizon has not issued an updated restoration schedule.
