Upper Peninsula Setting Snowfall Records in May
While southeast Michigan is battling floods on the first day of May, Michigan's Upper Peninsula is facing a different weather dilemma, snow.
According to the Detroit Free Press, about 3 to 4 inches of snow fell as of Wednesday morning, May 1.
The preliminary snow accumulation has already broken a 1.2 inch daily snowfall record set on May 1, 2005.
But it did not stop there, snow continued to fall on Thursday with 6 to 7 inches predicted by the end of Wednesday into Thursday.
