Two suspects are still being sought for the robbery of a local jewelry store. On Friday, Flint Township police responded to a hold up alarm at Medawar Jewelers on S. Linden Road. Upon arrival officers learned an unarmed robbery had occurred when three individuals entered the store and begin to smash display cases in an attempt to steal merchandise. According to a press release from Flint Township police, the suspects were confronted by an armed security guard and fled from the store without any merchandise. The suspect vehicle was later stopped by police and two suspects were taken into custody.

Two additional suspects are still being sought. The first suspect is described as a black male, about 6'1, weighing 180 pounds and in his early 20s. The second suspect is described as a black male standing 5'9 to 5'10, weighing 180 pounds and also in his early 20s. The investigation is ongoing.
