
Two Genesee County Organizations Receive Grants from Consumers Energy Foundation
Two organizations in Genesee County have been awarded grants from the Consumers Energy Foundation.
Eastside Senior Citizens Association was awarded $450 from the foundation. Holy Family Outreach Food Pantry received $225.
The grants came from a pool of more than $30,000 awarded to organizations around the state. According to Consumers Energy, the grants were awarded to recognize outstanding volunteerism by their Consumers Energy employees and retirees.
