Proudly brought to you by The Brough Bakery in Clio.

This week on AJ's Animals, we have not one, but TWO bonded kitty pairs! A bonded pair means that they MUST be adopted together, and they come into the Humane Society more frequently than you'd think.

Echo and Bella and Luke and Lucy both came from homes where they had senior owners; one of their owners went into hospice care and the other passed away. So, all four of these cats came from quiet homes that they were used to to the Humane Society of Genesee County, which can be very overwhelming. You can see that Luke and Bella are basically shut down, and it's heartbreaking.

All four of them are super sweet; I did get a chance to pet Luke and Bella,  even though they're pretty detached at the moment. It's clear that all they need is the right furrrever home and loving, dedicated owners to bring them back out of their shells.

You can make an appointment to meet all four of them (no pressure to adopt all four of them but wouldn't that be awesome?!) at the HSGC. They're still requiring two people at a time and appointments; you can call 810-744-0511 to set one up. Masks ARE required; if you have other pets, a meet-and-greet with your fur babies after the initial appointment.

Let's get these kittehs into a home; it's so hard to see them struggling in a new place.
