The White Horse Inn of Metamora Offering Free Carriage Rides

The White Horse Inn of Metamora is offering free horse-drawn carriage rides throughout the month of December. These annual rides are a holiday tradition for many area families. Did I mention that the carriage rides are free?

This is a first come first served basis. The carriage ride line forms at Metamora General. Each carriage can seat up to six people. Dates and times for the carriage rides are as follow,

Friday, December 10th - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday, December 11th - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Friday, December 17th - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday, December 18th - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

I recommend making an evening out of it and enjoying dinner and drinks in one of The White Horse Inn's heated igloos. You can make your igloo reservation here. Talk about a fun way to celebrate the holiday season. I recommend the Cowboy Mac and Cheese, and the Lemon Artichoke Chicken. For dessert try the Dark Horse Hot Fudge Brownie or the White Horse Oatmeal Pie. You can check out the entire menu below.
