The St. Paddy's Beer Fest and 1/2K Draft Dash goes down this Friday at the Flint Farmers' Market.

We have made some changes to this years' beer fest that will make this St. Paddy's Day better than ever.

The biggest change we made, is moving the event to St Paddy's Day. It has been the Saturday before St. Paddy's Day in the past, but the Green Beer Gods have blessed us with the holiday falling on a Friday this year. What better way to kick off the weekend than a beer festival?

We have added even more beers this year. We have over 25 beers to enjoy on Friday from Budweiser and Guinness, to beers from Bell's, Rochester Mills, Founders, and more. See the full list of beers here.

Want to hear Irish music? We have that too. Riley McLincha will be performing from 7pm to 10pm at the Beer Fest. We will also have dancers from the Michigan Irish Dance Academy at 6pm.

We even switched up the course for the 1/2 K Draft Dash this year.  Racers will run throughout the parking lot of the Flint Farmers' Market this year to complete the 1,640 foot race.

Racers will still receive a full green beer and a t shirt at the race finish line.

A few things about this years' beer festival will remain the same.

There will be food to eat from places like Brough Bakery, Fun with Frosting, Fireside Coffee, Semi-Sweets, Market Deli, and Vehicle City Tacos.

There will be fun to be had in the Black Tie Productions photo booth.

There will be plenty of beer to drink.

Get your tickets early and avoid the line on St Paddy's Day.
