The 2019 Genesee County Fair is On — Here’s Your Guide

Today kicks off the 170th year for the Genesee County Fair and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. The fair will run from today through Sunday, August 25th and has something for everyone.

The fair is packed with activities and attractions including rodeos, carnival rides, fair food, music and a live shark encounter. Executive Director Chris Miller told us, "It's really a fair for the entire family".

Monday, August 19th-

7 p.m.: Opening Ceremonies: Coronation Of The 2019 Genesee County Fair Queen

7 p.m.: Grandstand Event: Tiger Auto Salvage Monster Truck Shootout

7:30 p.m.: Pure Pro Wrestling

Tuesday, August 20th-

9 a.m.: VG's free coffee and donuts for senior citizens; Senior Directors Association of Genesee County Exhibit opens with vendors and free giveaways

2 p.m.: Roaring 20's Ice Cream Parlor presents free Ice Cream for senior citizens; Midway Opens featuring unlimited rides until 10 p.m. for $25

7 p.m.: Grandstand Event: Mid-States Bolt & Screw presents Figure 8 Derby & Burnout Contest

Wednesday, August 21st-

6 p.m.: Hog Calling Contest, Biergarten Opens, Pure Pro Wrestling

6:30 p.m.: Redneck Games: Ladder Ball

7 p.m.: Grandstand Event:  Flint New Holland presents Truck & Tractor Pull

Thursday, August 22nd-

10 a.m.: Armed Services Day - Flag Raising Ceremony

2:30 p.m.: Little Caesars Pizza Eating Contest

7 p.m.: Grandstand Event: Budweiser presents Trace Adkins

Friday, August 23rd-

10 a.m.: Petting Zoo Opens

5 p.m.: Tattoo Contest

9 p.m.  Saving Abel with special guest Westfall

Saturday, August 24th-

1 p.m.: Midway Opens Featuring Unlimited Rides until 10:00 p.m. for $25

5:30 p.m.: Cow Calling Contest

6 p.m.: Corn hole Tournament

7 p.m.: Grandstand Event: Ram presents Rodeo

9 a.m.: Western Speed & Action Horse Show
