Jimmy Fallon got some help from The Roots and the star-studded cast of 'Sing' for an a cappella version of 'Wonderful Christmastime.'

When you’re out promoting a movie, you’re often asked to do a lot of things, most of them pretty silly. With the amount of press the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was being asked to do, there were asked to do a lot of silly things, none perhaps as silly as going on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and singing a medley of Star Wars music a cappella. But the entire cast — including Harrison Ford! — actually commits, and it actually turns out to pretty fun.

We’ve seen Jimmy Fallon take on the likes of Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and House of Cards, but with Empire Season 2 drip-dropping its FOX premiere tomorrow night, Fallon was bound to take the throne. Why doesn’t everyone ask John Oliver for advice on everything? The Last Week Tonight host consistently thinks of the best possible answer for every possible question, so why not just turn him into the world’s all-knowing sage or something? The guy isn’t that busy, right?

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon might be prone to brief spats of name-dropping – hey, the guy knows a lot of people! – but on last night’s show, it was at least somewhat appropriate. Still recovering from Sunday night’s SNL 40 super special, Fallon was eager to share his recollections of the evening with his studio audience (and also Questlove, who was actually there, but who charitably recounted the whole evening with the giddy Fallon). There were a lot of people there!

Thank goodness for iPad apps. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' host Jimmy Fallon -- who grows more California by the minute, as the show has temporarily relocated to the West Coast -- and guest Will Smith decided to finally give the people what they want: rapping. Well, sort of.

Kidman and Fallon have previously met—all celebrities know each other, obviously—but while Fallon remembered their years-ago hang as a sort of weirdly casual thing, Kidman recalls it a bit differently. For Kidman, it was a romantic prospect, and the look on Fallon's face when he realizes what might have been is genuinely priceless. You really blew this one, Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake are pals. Like, serious pals. These guys make Apple commercials together, which is a true mark of friendship if there ever was one. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' the duo decided to team up for another round of, well, just whatever the heck it is these two do together.

Jeff Daniels would like to make you dance. Perhaps not you specifically -- but, heck, maybe -- but just anyone who gets to enjoy the dulcet tones of the 'Dumb and Dumber To' star whensoever he trills away with son's band. Daniels is a busy guy, but he still finds the time to jam out with his kid, and when that happens, it's dance time.
