Apple’s highly-anticipated ‘Let’s Talk iPhone’ event on Tuesday began with newly-installed CEO Tim Cook reflecting on some of the company’s successes, as well as one new one: the new iPhone. Dubbed the iPhone 4S, the gadget keeps with the company’s tradition of introducing completely new models every other year, with upgrades in between.

Sources claim Apple’s newly-installed CEO, Tim Cook, will preside over an October 4 media event in which he will announce the long-awaited iPhone 5. The date is consistent with previous reports setting early October as the release date for the next-generation smartphone.

In a replay from an incident last year, another Apple employee lost another iPhone prototype in yet another Bay Area bar. If this keeps up, they’re going to start surgically implanting new phones into developers’ arms.

Social media is not just for teens and tweens, it seems to be the way most men feel comfortable about communicating with others as well.  Yes the majority of the population has a Facebook, Twitter, and maybe even a blog, but is this the way a man feels most comfortable communicating with others?
